Saturday before we leave town for Thanksgiving

Today has been...how shall I say...long?

I suppose that could sum it up in one word.  I have concluded the evening, it seems, with forgetting the laundry, couldn't find a verizon store, a snow storm, cooking rice in a rice cooker with with tomato soup as the water (bad idea, don't try it), getting burned by said rice/tomato concoction, and almost immediately stubbing my toe on a chair, only to be fed up with the day.

I can't wait to get out of this town and have a vacation for a little while.  I wish I could not have to think about school at all, but that just isn't really possible.

Wish us luck driving down to Salt Lake City in a lovely snow storm that's supposed to be coming our way.
