(yes, the post belongs to Thursday)

I have a few more rhetorical questions, though feel free to answer them if you must...
why is it, also, that the "tolerance" bandwagon feels so one-sided? is this my perceived reality, or is it true that people demand respect and tolerance but fail to give it in return?
am i justified in expecting it back from those people whom i tolerate, love even? and why does tolerate have to mean that you accept what is happening, but otherwise (secretly, perhaps) generally abhor?
all for the sake of...peace? what is peace anyway? if that is peace, I want no part of it...
or maybe i can just state my opinion, openly, unapologetically...is it my responsibility to make everyone feel comfortable? i don't think so, and yet it is so painfully uncomfortable to knowingly disengage from people. and who's to blame? anyone? circumstance? ignorance?
and why is it perfectly acceptable to accept apologies, feel justified in receiving them, and fail to return the favor? ere go making the apologetic, essentially, grovel at your feet...how does that validate or help anyone move on or patch a relationship?
certainly, expecting forgiveness is the antithesis of true love
if nothing else, i have learned that i am only responsible for myself. if no one else cared to forgive or love, it is not on my head...but it is still my responsibility to forgive those who do not forgive me.
how interestingly impossible that seems, on occasion.
